Stashbusting Blanket

This year, one of my goals is to reduce the size of my yarn stash, and blankets are my favorite thing to crochet, so when I came across this Neat Ripple pattern I had to make it!

Here's the blanket, in progress:

And the finished blanket:

It's an easy, fast pattern and I enjoyed making it.  I followed Lucy's advice for straightening out the ripple on the edges and adding a border -- I think it came out great! And it made a dent (okay, a small dent) in my yarn stash, so I'm very pleased. :)

    1. Thanks, Judy! And it was all leftover yarn, didn't have to buy any!

  2. Virginia I have to say you must have a lot of left over yarn, the blanket is just stunning. Did you single crochet the edges?
